What do you mean by Advancement?

One of the key parts of the Cub Scout program is that the boys have fun while learning new skills. In Cub Scouts, these skills are learned during Adventures. One of the great things about the Cub Scout Adventures is that we can recognize they boys' achievements right away when they complete and adventure. Each rank has their own set of adventures to complete to earn the next rank. Click on the images below to find out the requirements for the rank your son is working on:

Every rank requires a certain number of adventures to be completed before the rank is earned. Cub Scouts participating in the Lion den for Kindergarten aged cub scouts need to complete five adventures. For cub scouts in grades 1 - 5, the magic number to remember is seven. All ranks require the completion of seven adventures to advance to the next rank. If you have any questions please talk to your Den Leader or the Cubmaster and they will be able to answer and additional questions.
